ex;total=1000 distnace b/w c & v allele is .21 distance b/w v &g is .41 coincidence=observed cross over/.21*.14*1000 sir why we multiply these three values together?
The coincidence is equal to the value obtained by dividing the percentage of observed crossover by the percentage of expected cross over. The product of these three values gives you the expected cross over.
in DNA quantification using spectrophotometer in literature it says to use dis.water as blank, but in practicla we used buffer solution, bit confuse about this
Nothing to confuse. But good question. The blank reading is taken to deduct the absorbance by the solution that is used to dissolve DNA. If DNA is dissolved in say distilled water, then we have to find the absorbance of distilled water and then deduct it from the reading of DNA+distilled water to find the real absorbance by DNA. If DNA is dissolved in buffer (e.g. TE), then we have to take buffer to find the blank reading.
Poly ploid is different from poly gene. Try yourself to understand what poly gene and polyploids are. Then you will come up wth an answer for your question.
What you have meant must be in vitro techniques. In vitro is a Latin word and it means "separated from original bearer and grown inside an artificial environment" i.e. a test tube or a culture vial.
Tissue culture is an example for in vitro technique.
Genetically improved variety can be obtained through conventional breeding which has been practiced for the last so many years without any of these claims as you have mentioned, and also through genetic engineering, which involves integration of genes from genetically similar or different species. In this technique also, it has not yet been scientifically proved to have any carcinogenic (cancerous) properties. However, there is a concern about this technique?
Haven't you consumed any of these products so far?
sir normally in progeny, mails due to y alleles from a father,so it means y containing sperm fertilization with ovules of mother.sir i want to know whether there is a method discovered so far to separate mail sperms(y containing)from x containing sperms?such a polar attraction or any chemicals marking method?
sir if we take an example,xx,xy parents ,they produce x gametes(from mother)x and y gametes (father)so when we considering gametes which producing from a father(mail) those contain x allele containing gametes and y allele containing gametes it means two different sperms,so i want to know whether there is a method discovered so far to separate sperms(y allele containing)from x allele containing sperms?such a polar attraction or any chemicals marking method? because if we are able to such a separation we can practice AI services for only making female calves for cows?
sir what is the easiest method to study such a bulk?

ReplyDeleteDear students, hope now it will be clear to you.
some banana like atikehel(wild type)& some of abulkesel has seeds. what is the reason? then it can be a poly gene affect or else?
